A room full of tender childhood memories: A timeless room in rosé.
A child's room is far more than just a beautifully furnished space. It's a place full of security, imagination, and little rituals – a room where memories are made. When designing such a room, therefore, aesthetics aren't the only priority; above all, the feeling this room should convey is paramount: joy, security, and warmth.
Design with emotion
For a young girl, her own room is a little universe – a retreat where she can dream, play, and find peace. The aim was to capture this atmosphere and create a place that would make her happy every single day.

Today, a few weeks after moving into this soft, pink-hued children's room, it's clear how well this concept has worked. Whether reading in a cozy little corner, playing with stuffed animals, or happily romping around – the room is filled with life. That's precisely what makes it so special.
A room that grows with you
From the outset, care was taken to ensure the room remained playful and child-friendly, while also possessing a timeless foundation. The rose-colored accents reflect her current stage of life, but the basic design, furniture, and color scheme were chosen to still look harmonious in a few years.
Even when stuffed animals are eventually replaced by books or pictures, the room remains harmonious and age-appropriate. In this way, the room grows with her and accompanies her for many years.
Why high-quality window decoration is so important
One of the most striking design elements in the room is created by the window treatment. Here, a deliberate combination of soft, rose-colored pleated curtains and light Roman blinds was chosen. The triple pleats of the curtains create a calm, elegant structure, while the blackout lining provides ideal conditions for restful sleep.
The additional Roman blinds create a subtle texture and provide pleasant, glare-free light during the day. At the same time, the two layers create a layered look that makes the room appear more sophisticated – without losing its playful lightness.
Design tip: Curtains should always be mounted high and wide. A generous width – at least twice the window width – ensures a voluminous, high-quality drape.
A room full of memories
This children's room was designed with great love and attention to detail. It's a place where small everyday moments become warm memories: playing, reading aloud, cuddling, laughing. A room that not only brings joy now, but will also keep pace with the years to come.
A thoughtfully designed living space is always an investment in the well-being of the whole family. And especially for children, such a room can make a big difference – it gives them security, freedom, and a place for their own little world.
