How do I determine the correct curtain rod height?

As a general rule, mount the curtain rod 15–20 cm above the window frame to create a sense of height. For a floor-length look, let the curtains hang just above the floor (1–2 cm gap) or slightly pleat them for a more dramatic effect.

How do I measure my windows for custom curtains?

  • Choose between indoor or outdoor installation.
  • Measure the width: rod/rail length for pleated models or rod length for models with rod pocket/loop attachment.
  • Measure the height from the top edge of the pole/rail to the desired length.

Should I measure the window or the wall area?

Always measure the area your curtains will cover, not just the window frame. For optimal coverage and light blocking, add at least 20–30 cm on each side.

What is the best fill ratio?

We recommend 1.5 to 2 times the fabric width of the rail/rod width. For example, a 200 cm long rod requires approximately 300–400 cm of curtain fabric for an elegant curtain.
